Think Unrealistic Thoughts

It was Abraham Hicks who first taught me these words “Think unrealistic thoughts.”
When you think REALISTIC thoughts, you re-create more of what IS.
You don’t venture far from who you already are.
However, when you think unrealistic thoughts, you tap into what COULD BE, which already exists in a parallel reality.
“But Anna, I can’t think unrealistic thoughts—that’s crazy to think unrealistic thoughts.”
It is crazy because most people think in a limited way. They only see what is in front of them and plan from there. I’ve been told, “You’ve got to be realistic,” by so many professionals that if I listened to them, I wouldn’t have what I have now.
You are no mere ordinary human—you have the Universe within you.
You were handed a power that can create worlds... A power that shapes ENERGY into FORM through your mind.
And Spirit sees ALL possibilities.
Why would you accept scraps?
Besides, what does it cost you? Only your imagination.
Years ago, I looked at a photo of myself enjoying the patisseries of Paris, and I told my husband something completely unrealistic.
“I will live in France for 3 months so I can learn how to cook these delicious pastries.”
While I was at it, I added another unrealistic thought: “And I will take our daughter to live there for 3 months.”
She was 8 years old at the time.
My husband rolled his eyes and said, “Put it out to the Universe,” not because he believed my unrealistic thought, but rather to put my crazy ideas to rest.
Little did I know that two weeks later, while completing an errand for a friend, I discovered a French cooking school just 10 minutes down the road that I never knew existed.
It was called The Paris International School of Cooking and I had no idea I’d be attending classes for the next 6 months.
Now I regularly make those pastries that I saw in Paris and I even created my food Instagram page when previously I didn’t really know how to cook.
I also didn’t know that 7 years later our daughter would live in France for 3 months with a lovely French family on an exchange program.
You never know what can happen.
Norman Vincent Peale said, “Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars.”
Another time, when we first got our mortgage, I was not happy about not being able to travel as much as we used to. In anger, I thought, why should something I love stop because of a mortgage?
In that moment, I had an outrageously UNREALISTIC thought.
I said to the Universe, “I know this is crazy, but this is what I want. Our 30 year mortgage is paid off in 3 years.”
It didn’t even mathematically make sense with what we earned.
Prior to that, I had accepted that we’d be paying off a loan for 30 years—or not even paying it off.
We didn’t pay it off in 3 years.
We paid it off in 3.5 years.
And we even travelled during that time.
Today, I am still blown away. I would have accepted a mediocre life if I didn't proprose something unrealistic.
So how do you think UNREALISTIC thoughts?
You don’t do it in normal waking consciousness.
Your mind and lack of evidence will battle with you and kill that dream.
That’s like trying to go fishing in shallow water.
To catch the big fish, you need to go into deeper water.
The deeper waters of your subconscious mind.
I do this in a kind of hypnotic state.
I do it while I am drowsy, or I lie on my bed, close my eyes and blank my mind.
I tell myself, “I’m not Anna with her history. I’m not her personality, achievements, or what she owns. I am pure energy.”
With this blank canvas, I can plant whatever unrealistic thoughts I want without Anna and 'reality' arguing against me.
I imagine dropping a fishing line deep into the ocean of my mind and I plant these unrealistic thoughts:
“I have always been rich.”
“My house is paid off.”
“I am healthy.”
And so forth.
If my mind argues with me, I know I have not completed the step before properly. I have not blanked my mind and let go of reality to enter a state of being nothing.
Dr Joe Dispenza often talks about entering this nothingness to become a new personality.
Seth says you can even say, “I give myself permission to disregard reality” for this moment.
I plant these ideas daily and take any inspired action.
Through this process, I have seen the craziest, most unrealistic things become my reality.
So much so that I now have Abraham's words, 'THINK UNREALISTIC THOUGHTS' printed on my wall.
Spirit sees ALL possibilities.
You are no mere ordinary human—you have the Universe within you.
You were handed a power that can create worlds. You shape energy into form by your thoughts.
What does it cost you?
Your imagination.
