Do you ever feel like people let you down, or hurt you?
I have in the past.
It was Abraham Hicks who taught me something which changed me:
“People will love you. People will hate you.
And none of it will have anything to do with you.”
Yes... NONE of it has ANYTHING to do with YOU!
It has to do with THEM.
If they love you, they are aligned with Source within.
If they hate you, they are misaligned with Source within.
CHOOSE to make your feelings UNHURTABLE.
A lady asked me, "How do I prevent myself from getting hurt?"
Is the solution to shut off from the world?
Is it to shut off from opening up to people?
No.
I answered, "The solution is don't drink love from the wrong places."
You can ONLY get hurt when you seek love from the wrong source.
You can only get hurt when you seek love from humans.
What? Isn't it normal to seek love from humans?
It's in the movies. It's in the love songs.
There is nothing wrong with humans loving us... it feels nice right?
Well it feels bad too when they cut off.
If we make other people approving us, saying we are enough, saying we are beautiful our source of feeling good - then we are setting ourselves up for dissapointment.
As much as they wish to love us, it is not their job to tend to us, nor can they keep up with making us feel good 24 hrs a day. This is OUR job.
Our hearts were made for a HUGE love which only Source (the Universe) can fill.
Every human was made to drink from this love. But what do we do?
We look for it from humans... Humans who have been drinking very little love, filtered through their hurts and pains.
We end up seeking low quality muddy water, versus drinking love from Niagra Falls!
Stick to this rule:
Let the Universe LOVE YOU.
Because it absolutely adores you right now... Just as you ARE.
In fact it is flooding you with a wealth of love if you just open the door.
Then with this love, FLOW it to people.
Yes. FIll up within... then give it to others.
It is a one way valve.
You can only give what you have.
So make sure you fill up first.
Source is your supply.
Humans receive the benefit.
Note: If you are in an unhealthy or abusive relationship, drinking from Source will give you the insight to see you deserve better and give you the strength to move out of this relationship.
No matter what situation you are in, decide you want to feel good and let that guide you.
If you catch yourself feeling hurt, pause...
You have momentarily sought your fill from humans again.
Nothing has gone wrong. Be kind to yourself and go ask how the Universe feels about you.
Here are my tips for ALLOWING the Universe to love you:
Spend more time in nature. Observe the stars, the moon, the trees, the wind on your face. Does it criticise you? Does it judge you? No, it is a sneak preview to how the Universe really feels about you. It just radiates life energy for you to enjoy. In this space start a dialogue and ask the Universe how it feels about you?
Take in spiritual input. Get to know who this Universe is just as you get to know any other person you want to develop a loving relationship with. I go to Abraham Hicks on YouTube, however you can pick any inspirational teacher that makes you feel good.
Spend quiet time away from the noisy world. Even just a few moments quietening your mind, focused on your breathing allows you to fine tune your listening skills. Your inner being is here, now with you, speaking in a quiet voice. Listen.
Be kind to yourself. When you are kind to yourself you are a vibrational match to Source and you will more easily feel Source loving you because you are starting to love yourself. Self criticism and judgement is the worst for your soul. Be kind even when you feel you failed. This kindness opens up the door. You will be on steady ground and you will let everyone off the hook, because you have found your happiness within.
